Anyone else thinks that the Kjarr daggers rage r really bad coz they only have blue sharpness
For this reason I'm going with safi dagger and then I would have to take valkhana set to get critical element is this a good idea? The thing is that velkhana set has skills which I dont want besides the helm and it doesnt have good slots deco numbers

Kjarr weapons have critical element, which causes the elemental damage to boost when you crit. To my knowledge, Kjarr dual blades are best in slot for elemental builds.

I know that is y I use them but the Kjarr rage which is the fire elemental one has a maximum of blue sharpness only which makes it bad IMO that is y I'm asking here if I use the safi fire daggers then I would have to use the valkhana set to get critical element and the valkhana set doesnt have any skills that I'm interested in besides the helm and it doesnt have good deco slots

You should use Silver Rat instead of Velk set if you're not going Kjarr.

Numbers were crunched a long ago, Kjarr Fire is still the best. And fire DBs have consistently been blue sharp, pre Safi Anja DBs were the best. The big perk of the blue bar too is that you get such a long blue bar that you don't need to worry with Prot Polish as much.

Well when im playin kjarr weapon. I just use sharp jewel so u can keep ur sharp for not decrease for a while, and use whetfish stone+ to sharpen ur weapon. With that is just like have mind eye skill for free.

Blue sharpness is a way better trade off compared to losing critical element. And as WM said, if you absolutely must avoid the Kjarr weapons then the Silver Rath armor helps make up for it with true crit element. But I would recommend instead to use the Kjarr weapon with Safi armor if you'e worried about damage.

EDIT: Blue sharpness is a *1.2 modifier on raw damage and a *1.0625 on elemental, while white is a *1.32 on raw and *1.15 on elemental. Meanwhile, dual blades with crit element allow for the elemental damage to crit at *1.35, more even than purple sharpness (and the crit damage will stack with the blue sharpness modifier). Since dual blades are more successful with elemental damage than raw damage, this is ideal.

If you're worried about bouncing off monsters, just equip a mind's eye jewel. I use one for every melee weapon except greatsword, even weapons with purple sharpness (only mind's eye allows you to slice through an angry Nerg, for instance).

First of all: elemental damage is PORTION of your total damage, not all of damage you dealt. How much RAW damage weapon have is also important. In this terms Kjarr rage is still good or best, depend of how you build it, because it have hightest RAW value among all Kjarr DB.

Second: sharpness modifiers for RAW and element also matter. Combined values make Kjarr rage not that bad how they looks if you have next point in mind.

Third: Kjarr weapons have innate critical element/critical status. This alone make them better options most of the time, because unlock to you more armor variety. You need critical element to allow your elemental damage being critical on crit. But if you don't use Kjarr you must use Silver Rathalos set bonus (Silver Rath set and Azure Era set, can be mixed) to get True Critical Element - this is only way to beat Kjarr weapons by total possible damage in your builds.

which monster Azure Era set belongs to ? I googled it but all it says is that it belongs to iceborne master hunter expansion .

"Azure Age Alpha + Set in Monster Hunter World (MHW) mhw-iceborne is a Master Rank Armor Set added with the expansion. "

Azure age armour is obtained from the USJ event quests. It is better than the Silver los armour.
