Bag Pipe Forte Symbol

I can't find ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this online, but I have Iceborne, if that matters. But whenever I use the bagpipe in the training area, it tells me there's 3 notes and a forte symbol, but the forte symbol is the same as my claw clutcher thing. Occasionally something happens when I button mash and he spins the bagpipe, and that gives me the forte in my song. But I have no clue what I did. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't figure it out. I can only do the red, blue, and gray notes. It even says it's required for impact echo wave, but I can't find anything else.

Assuming you're on gamepad, the new note Iceborne added is L2/Left trigger after any attack. You can't start with it.

You can only do it after a move I think.

As the other two mentioned, only after an attack can you use the spin2win note.
Most HH speed runners go with the little stab, then spin

It was the forte, and yeah, it's after a move only. The problem was that I'm playing on pc, and it said it was the same key as the claw shot. So I kept shooting my claw, and was super confused, because I didn't know that mechanic existed. Thanks for the help, though, guys.
