For all bows, all kjarr elements.
All the rest of the weapons are pure raw, so most don't need to be farmed unless you're a completionist or fighting alatreon
Kjarr weapons have a powerful skill called "Critical Element". In MHW, physical critical strikes are distinguished from elemental critical strikes. Your physical critical strikes will not increase elemental damage. However, "Critical Element" can increase your elemental damage on critical strikes. This is also the core skill of bow and arrow and double blade, because the damage of these two weapons comes from the elements.
If you want to obtain a large number of Kjarr weapons efficiently, I suggest you go to the HR mission.
You only need to destroy its shell more than 15 times before it enters the third zone to make it appear Fury after entering the fourth zone (if you don’t destroy its shell 15 times, it won’t Fury, even if you complete the mission, you can't get the Kjarr weapon), and then completely destroy its horn. (Tips: its horn also has a shell, and the same weaker is the thunder element)
The metal shell of HR's Kulve Taroth has a very high defense against physical attacks and is almost immune to physical damage (even if you have Fatalis weapons, you can't cause damage to its shell). However, its shell is very afraid of the thunder element. Before the MHWIB DLC is released, players will use LV6 Thunder Element and LBG Thunder Element ammo to destroy its shell (very easy tactics), and then use item to return to the tent before entering the fourth area to switch to Ice Element LGB and LV6 Ice Element Concentration Attack its horn. (Because Kulve Taroth's body is afraid of ice elemental damage)
Taroth series weapons and Gold series weapons are not powerful, they are just collectibles.
tips: Does not include state weapons, they are toys.
Physical weapons: Charge Blades (Impact Phial), Greatswords, Hammers, Heavy Bowguns, Hunting Horn, Insect Glaives (if you don't jump), Lances, Long Swords, Light Bowgun (please consider attack speed), Switchaxes (Power Phial), Sword & Shield (depending on build)
Special: Gunlances (Shelling Types and LV)
If you want customized weapons, to an extent, Safis are better, but you need a lot of dracolites
Not just Fatalis, considering he's the last big boy, but even to KT. I'm at a point where I can farm KT and Safi, before I take on alatreon/Fatalis, but KT just seems to offer better weapons generally.
Generally:
-For Fire, Ice, Water, Thunder, Dragon you want KT
-Blast, Poison, Sleep, Paralysis you want Safi'Jiiva
Also when it comes to guns I think for example Safi Aquashot is still a better Sticky gun than anything Kulve offers. But I'm no expert at guns.
