It's not hard, just learn the mechanics.
1. Are there any preferred weapons? I tried using SnS but it feels quite strange, as I'm very much not used to it. I tried using IG before turning to GS, which by far got me the best results.
2. Is there slinger ammo that allows you to quickly break the antlers? I saw the dude using the sling, but which ammo should I focus on getting? Also, can the flash pods stun Leshen, or only Jagras?
3. As for the rewards, is it worth doing the Gajalaka side quest? Like I said, the timing feels tight.
Actually, thinking about it, can I use lifepowder from further away? I've always been trying to be as close as possible to the Pukei when using it, what is its activation range?
In regular hunts as long as you can see the hunters name, they're in range for lifepowder. As long as Pukei is on your screen it should pretty much be in range.
It's more than enough time if you just get em done quickly. Also might want to try spamming charged jump attacks on Leshen using your GS, definitely made the fight a lot easier for me.
it helps to let one jagras alive and use flash to keep them stunned so the dmg is reduced and you can focus on leshen
preparation is key to success, so collect enough flash bugs and mushrooms for the healing items before starting the fight.
