I read that each time a group of wigglers goes down it is a new batch that spawns back up. And I also read the opposite. I'm trying to get the wiggle queen at the southern camp but haven't had any luck yet. I was originally just travelling back and forth between the 2 camps but then I read you can just keep scaring the same group off until a queen spawns. Is this legit?

it spawns in wiggler groups at night, so if the group doesn't have it, scare it off, they despawn and new ones come back, so your method works, but make sure its the right time.

I've done 2 cycles of night now and still no luck. Worst part is I'm only doing this after giving up on the downy crake but this is proving no easier smh

Only 2? It's a rare spawn, you're just starting. It took me like a dozen to find it.

I found the Petricanth on my 3rd try and Dapper Coralbird on my 1st so I was hoping my luck would continue. But evidently not lmao

There's a huge field of wigglers near the Paolumu nest, that's where I found mine.
