Dante's CB makes you glow red during guard points
Whenever a guard point is active on Dante's Devil Sword there will be a red aura surrounding your character and a specific sound cue will also be played.
This is very handy for anyone who wants to learn charge blade and can't figure out during which moves you can guard point.
It also looks pretty sick.

It's a pretty awesome weapon visually. I love that the shield poke is just a little fireball shot from your right hand.

DMC set and weapon have been released about 15 hours ago.

Nice information. As someone who does not know much about CB, how does Dante's weapon compare to other CB.

Like any other CB that isn't Diablos Tyrannis or its Kulve version, it's not the best CB. It has thunder element so you can't boost its damage with NEB and it's R8 so you can only augment it once.
However, it still has impact phials, it comes with 30% more affinity compared to Blos, it has a massive blue sharpness bar with no access to white sharpness (meaning you can skip Handicraft entirely) and has two extra lv1 deco slots that you can fill with attack decos if you have them. You can therefore play it in a more slashy-slashy style instead of just focusing on SAED and you can invest in crit boost to make those axe crits hit harder.
Overall I'd say it's more than decent and unless you're speedrunning you can still do a lot of work with it.

Here's an example of a build you can make for it:
http://honeyhunterworld.com/mhwb/?289,95,98,76,70,78,83,health,0,0,4,4,0,52,0,0,4,0,0,49,5,0,5,5,5,90,0,0,2
If you don't have attack/ironwall/artillery/magazine decos (which is understandable) there are probably builds you can make by sacrificing crit boost and one level of MM.

Awesome thank you for detailed response. I think I will make and use it as my first CB.
Dante's CB looks so cool but just like all the other CBs it just can't match or even get near Tyrannis II to make it a bit more viable. *sigh*

I mean I dont want to tell you to use this and dont use that, but that weapon needs both Anja and Odogaron gems to craft. Considering both those gems are really sought out for melee augments, Id suggest just go for Diablos Tyrannis. Well if you are literally swimming in gems and streams, ofc feel free to use the Dante CB first

A lot of CBs are viable, even the ones with element phials. Just because they aren't the best ones it doesn't mean they're bad.

You can still farm Odo and Anja gems pretty easily (you might even be doing it by accident while farming Dante set) or get them through wyverian prints. If you're learning the weapon having a cue to know where guard points are in your combos is pretty useful. Never having to manage sharpness also helps you just focus on the gameplay.

I'm not saying they are bad but if you want to be efficient there's Tyrannis and nothing else.
Would be nice to have another CB that could rival it just to change things up a bit.

If you want to be THE MOST efficient, yes. If you just want to be efficient in general, the options are many.
The only way they could make other CBs a meta alternative to Blos is to greatly buff elemental/status damage on CB, or at the very least elemental phials. Without that, any CB better than Blos will just replace Blos in the meta in the same way as Wyvern Ignition replaced any previous GS.

And they managed to ♥♥♥♥ up the elemental charge blades of Kulve. That 300 thunderof the R8 Thunder couldve easily dethroned Kadachi Kaina if not for the impact phials. And all the Kulve counterparts of all 5 current best CBs for each element are way worse than the real stuff. The Vaal counterpart even got impact phial lul. Just waiting for that R8 Water, now thats something! Will definitely replace Jerry Depth

So I made the CB, yep guard points being highlighted is pretty neat. Though the axe mode looks quite stupid unfortunatly (especially the SAED), good thing I only use the axe mode for SAEDs I guess.

Was a bit disappointed when I saw it was an element CB also, but eh, still okay to use.

The weapon looks nice indeed.
Sound effects, visual style, light effects and stuff.
The only thing that is making my eyes bleed is animation for the SAED transition and sheathing the weapon.
When it looks like you're just touching air, instead of blade or doing some voodoo magic with second hand.
But whatever. It's not like anyone is going to fix that.
Still, amazing.
