Can anyone help me kill legiana?

I can't kill this monster how much I try so I wanted to ask if someone could help :)

Bring nulberries to remove the iceblight. Bring flash pods to blind her out of the sky when she tries to fly. Upgrade your armor to the highest defense it allows. Remember to eat a meal to try and get extra health/stamina, and maybe look for armor that has the health boost skill if you still need more durability.

I'll give you a few tips that will hopefully help you defeat her!

First and foremost, she is extremely weak to poison. Legiana takes a lot of damage from poison over time and you can inflict the poison status on Legiana with just a few poison throwing knifes. The other option is to use a weapon that deals poison damage.
In addition to being weak to poison, Legiana is also very weak to thunder damage so if you use poison throwing knifes and a thunder element weapon you should be able to finish this fight quite quickly.

I recommend bringing nullberries for this fight. Use a nullberry to negate the frostbite status effect. Legiana only deals ice damage so if you are wearing armor pieces with decent ice resistance then her damage will be a lot lower.

You can use flash pods for some free damage. Fire the flash pod within her field of vision while she is airborne to knock her down to earth. This is a great opportunity to deal a lot of damage to her. Focus on the head and wings to slow Legiana down. Legiana becomes slower when she is affected by poison and when you break her parts.

Yes, my mistake! The iceproof mantle is obtained in HR so he doesn't have it yet. I've corrected it in my original post.

It's impossible to get poison throwing knife reliably in Low Rank I think, since Laka's doesn't spawn. Just craft and bring poison smoke bomb instead.

I'd say the main way to make it easier to fight legi early on is to pick a long weapon or weapon with upward hits. Dual blades is gonna be a pain but gunlance, switch axe/charge blade, hammer, anything with big upward hits is gonna have an easier time. LS and GS good too.

I like how people recommend Iceproof Mantle like those people recommending Thunderproof Mantle for the Quest that unlocks Thunderproof Mantle.
