Constantly hovering over, scream stun locking you, interrupting your combo and not letting you fight your hunts.
Id just poo on him everytime he is even in vicinity.
Banbaro is a poor replacement for Bazelgeuse, and honestly Seething Bazelgeuse ain't all that, not even sure if there's a reason to hunt him or if his materials are worth anything, even in the Grinding Lands. I remember I was MR 100+ when I finally obtained a Bazel Mantle or whatever, and I didn't even need it. Was surprised to see the exclamation mark on it signifying something new that late into Iceborne, I just never saw the thing and never needed a reason to hunt him.
I'll never forget Banbaro showing up during a Rajang hunt unexpectedly and hurling a rock at Rajang while he was doing his big standing roar, suddenly this huge rock just flew into the arena and hit him, breaking something and causing him to fall down, ruining his big badass moment, that's the only positive thing I have to say about Banbaro. He should have been a Jade Barroth or a Gammoth.
I don't even have a reason to carry around dung pods anymore in Iceborne. When another monster shows up, you just use it as a bowling ball to flinch shot into the monster you're fighting for even more knock downs. Even Savage Deviljho, supposed to be a Deviljho that went insane due to its hunger I believe, doesn't care much about invading you when you hunt and trying to eat. It might show up and snack on a dead monster, but that's after the hunt ends lol.
We got the Rath and Legiana abilities to roar and call for help from their "allied" monsters on the map though, which is something. Doesn't really come up enough though, but I guess it counts as a "new" invading monster of sorts, right?
One of the best themes in World's entire OST, and a great fight that encourages using different tactics than "just stunlock it by spamming his head" like 90% of Base World. I also enjoy Seething Bazel a lot.
Needles to say, when i saw Bazel on the leaked monster list for Rise i was really happy.
