Do people still do Kulve Taroth?

I dropped this game right before Kulve Taroth came around a couple years ago and decided to start a new character last week. I just unlocked the Kulve Taroth siege and tried to join it but couldn't find any. Do people still play it or is it impossible for me to get the gear now?

Do a filtered search for Kulve Taroth quests. I usually see 3-4 different lobbies doing kulve runs.

Not so many for the siege i'm afraid. The majority of them are doing the Kulve Taroth MR Event in Iceborne where you just kill her and get the stuff which is miles better.

I usually see 3-4 lobbies when I filter search for KT, but maybe in your area its less. In any case, you can always farm MR KT and still get weapons out of it by shoving materials into the melding pot.

Master Rank KT is more efficient for a team with 4 or less people.
High Rank KT is efficient for when there are multiple teams in a session, and is generally easier than Master Rank KT if you have the right build.

I had found lobbys playing Kulve Taroth, if you cant find a lobby might be cause one is capped atm. During sieges always search for lobbys with that monster, if your just joining random lobbys...your odds of finding players doing the siege are close to none.

On top of that, you can SOS MR Taroth, so any player from any lobby can join.
While Siege is restricted to the same lobby.

A few of my friends who only have base world also want to do the siege kulve taroth, but we dont have much luck finding other lobbies that does it.

yeah many people, ususaly on the days after he enters you have the largest ammount, then it slowly decreases
i pretty much spend the weekend only doing kulve last week, both versions

I can't speak for other people, but I HATED Kulve Taroth Siege long before Iceborne came out. That first stage of the fightis such a chore, and if you don't know what you're doing, the chances of it fleeing early on are astronomically high.

But the moment I could do the event? It became up there with my favorites as it removes that whole first part.

Low rank siege is no longer required to get strongest weapons. It would've been if there was nothing else but Iceborne and you wanted the marginally strongest weapon to max out your stats post game, but since Iceborne, there are stronger weapons even from the lowest of Master Ranks, and if you insist on doing Kulve Taroth, there's an MR version that can be completed in one quest, although it requires you to be stronk.

The only real reason you want to keep playing the HR version; is to assist players who do not own the expansion or arent strong/confident enough to take on it.

I myself have not come with an LBG, HBG or GS build to feel confident on MR, but I had on HR. I mean for HR I use elemental LBG but I had heard thats bad for the MR version.

You got it right. Unfortunately capcom nerfed her elemental hzvs, so raw is better on the MR version.
