How to kill a pink rathian or can anyone help?

Get fire resistance
Clear poison if you get poisoned
Back off and heal if you get hit

Aye as most are saying make sure you are also upgrading the armour with the spheres at the smithy and use decorations where available :). Look for things with divine blessing (Neck, armour skills, decorations ) and health (Neck, armour skills, decorations). Example if you have divine blessing on armour use a health neck and vise versa.

Zorah Armor should withstand a few hits of Pinky ... do you get your food buffs up front?

On a more general note:
Pinky is a proper maniac

While Rathian is pretty chill in her movement and attack patterns, Rathalos is a bit more 'to the face' but gives lots of windows nontheless.
Pinky on the other hand is a crazed PCP junkie on a rampage. Try not to go in to her. Dodge and observe, let her rampage around a bunch until you got the rythm down. Then start going in for single hits, until she's a bit hurt.
If you want to speed it up a bit, try bouncing bombs.
Also do NOT be inside a 60° cone in front of her EVER in the beginning of the fight, neither close range, nor long range. Pinky will grill your sorry ass with more fire then even some elder dragons.
Also, if possible (connected to the one above) try to fight her in big open maps, do not opt into fights in narrow spaces.

palico rallye(+5) + widerange(+5) and let the cat kill the monster for you, simply focus on healing him and keep his hp over 60%, so it won't stop fighting to heal himself

The Pink rathian tail strike is very poison, make sure you have enough poison resistance. Also put up some fire resistance. You may have many problems that require you to explore and fix.

Your armour is probably still for low rank, pink rath appears in high rank, check the blacksmith, the crafting will now be split between low and high rank armours, it's the same type of gear but with higher stats and stuff and they require high rank materials to craft.
