Monster Hunter: World

Monster Hunter: World

Statistiche:
Normal armor to Layered armor, is that possible?
So like, there are really some cool looking armor sets in the game and some which aren't really to my taste or have skills which I don't really use. Sometimes, mixed set also works to your favor but not aesthetically pleasing enough to be used.

So my question is: is it possible to convert regular armor into layered armor? . Like for example wear Anjanath set but appear to be wearing Pukei-pukei set or Jagras set? I mean there are also some old low tier armor sets anyway which looks fine in my opinion and it would slightly be sad to just sell them.

Endgame, IB, Guiding Lands, MR100 to unlock all, note: ALL, layered armors.

Or mod

Hmm, so short answer is yes? 🥺
Layered armor is an entirely separate system, and works like any other cosmetic-based system you may be familiar with. You have the stats and skills offered by your normal armor, with the appearance of whatever layered armor you equip.

There are some early event quests that offer some layered armor, but the majority are unlocked in the Guiding Lands, which is a post-Iceborne story area that drops the unique items required to craft them.

Ahh yes, I do get understand the idea. They're basically skins in other games. I was just wondering if it's possible to convert the armors we crafted into layered versions, because I really like the look of some.
No conversions. It's something you have to craft like any other armor, but it's in the layered armor section of the smithy.

Ahh, what a shame but I guess all these Layered armor thing is just a cherry on top anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️I'm okay to not have them but I had to wonder. Some of the low level gear's design really grew on me 😁

Thanks for the clarification bro! I appreciate it.

I mean, you can get the layered armor of those lower level designs with that. You just have to get it separately in Iceborne endgame, instead of converting it.

before we got layered armor i used a transmog tool from nexusmods...search "mhw costume armor"
As everyone has already stated, you can wait till you unlock the guiding lands in Iceborne to do layered armors....officially. Unofficially? There's a mod on Nexus.com that does essentially the same thing with EVERY ARMOR immediately and can be done at any point of your progression. Since it's only cosmetic it won't affect much else.
As everyone said, you're asking the wrong question. You cannot convert armor sets to layered sets, but you CAN just create layered armor sets of low level armor.
