Quest for fireproof mantle does not appear...

I looked up what to do to get the quest for the mantle. and is says you should kill all big monsters in the elders recess, so i killed lavasioth, uragaan and dodogama. which did not work so i went on with bazel and the blue rathalos. which didnt work either.

am i missing something?
btw i did all quest in multiplayer, but i dont think this makes any difference.

Have you completed the quests for the previous mantles?
How far are your other facilities?
Do you have any speech bubble sidequests remaining?

To be fair, the online info about this is rarely correct. There seem to be conditions based on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ behind the scenes that people overlooked

Hunt all target monsters (Uragaan and Lavasioth)

yes, but the problem is this quest wont appear.

i did not collect the mantles on purpose, because i dont need most of them, but for lunastra i guess its a good choice.

i got ice, thunder and water... it makes seven mantles overall.
and two boosters.

i will try some more of the speechbubble quests and report how it went out.

EDIT:
the only speechbubble quests i have now are kirin, collect a wyvern-egg and catch 10 gajalakas.
btw i have 9 mantles now, but nothing fireproof.

You must:
Kill a HR Rathian
Kill a HR Dodogama

Complete Quests:
'The Sleeping Sylvan Queen'
'Dodogama Drama'

Technically you only need to 'find' or 'discover' a HR Rathian and HR Dodogama to unlock the two quests, and then you must complete those quests. This will unlock 'A Fiery Convergence', which will send you on a final task to collect the mantle.
