About characters having no name
When the Handler got knockout together it the hunter, the Handler or whatever name they didn`t gave to her became affectionate towards "The Tracker". She lookup to her like a mature older woman who is good at her job like she would like to be. But it's strange because we don't refer to people we like by "he" "she" and the Handler (whatever name they didn't gave to her) keep calling the Tracker by it. Also it's a disrespect because if the Japanese refer to the other by "you" the Japanese is in disrespect also we. And the game is Japanese!

While there is a language specifically for the Monster Hunter universe, it is a very rudamentary language and creating a naming convention for it probably just wasn't worth the time and effort.

Further, Monster Hunter is not set in any known culture from Earth, but rather in its own culture, so you don't know if, in that culture, refering to someone as "you" is rude or whether names are even held in high regards in this culture.
Potentially, the idea behind addressing someone almost exclusively by their position/standing is connected to people in this fictional society being valued more by their merits than their origin.

So first you want to change the name from “Monster Hunter” to “Beast Hunter” because the bible says so, damn every day there is a new bait nonsense thread coming from you apparently.

Unless you know Japanese, i don't think you have the right to criticize them.
There are formal and informal "you" in Japanese such as "omae", "kisama", two if which are informal/rude.
For formal, its more often "kimi" than anything else, as I am not too well versed with Japanese but do watch a lot of anime, I have learned quite a bit of Japanese

Also, reported you for spam bro

Listen man, I don`t know if you are an older man or a kid but you need to agree it someone in some point if they don`t lie. You would call someone close to you "she" "he" "kimi" "anata" everytime ?

Then why do characters have names in RIse but not in MHW?

Isn't Rise done by a different team?

Sometimes, it's easier to just accept the title and the characters as they are.
No need to put your head on the cutting board of something that has been going on for six games, and nearly 20 years now.

What "lie" are you talking about?
Its not like there's anything ppl like about the Handler; the Admirals nickname is already "Rajangs cousin/lookalike".
No one really connects with the characters because that isn't really the whole point of the MH series.

If you want to know why they started using names in MHR, you should probably ask the MH team instead of here

Character do have names, but theyre usually never called by their names in game. Like, Aiesha is the Guild Gal in MH3, but she's called "Guildie". Same with Becky in MH1, she's just "Quest Receptionist", or Sophia in 4U, "Guildmarm". In Rise, we're told their names, but more than likely, theyll be called by their titles.

Don’t think so, at least in the demo they refer to the master ninja as master Utsushi. Why bother making a video introducing all of them with names and then not use them?

I guess they prefer to be call by their rank or whatever their job is or they don't mind at all.

Maybe each villages, cities, towns are different?
