Frontier Z Question

For the older/Frontier players, after doing some basic research on Monster Hunter Frontier Z did the game have a singleplayer/offline mode? I know the online service was shut down, but nothing really clarified info surrounding the subject.

You could solo quests, but it was always online, as it was technically an MMO. There were tons of SP options, like being to able to hire NPC hunters to hunt with you.
