Is it possible to craft Fatalis Armor even If I fail over and over again?

Title. I can't finish basic Fatalis quest cause I always run out of time but after the last one when I broke some of his parts i get some mats. Also cat get some with his plunderblade. So my question is can I craft the whole armor set even when I keep failing at the quest itself?

Well, you can just ignore the chest for a while and just aim for other parts. 4 Fatalis armour set+Golden Rathian* chest would still OP 'til you can actually kill it.

You could definetly try to obtain them with the plunderblade, but that takes a lot of time and youre honestly better off to just try to beat him normally. The armor set and weapons do make the fight a lot easier, but theyre definetly not essential to defeating him. You can get by without them.

ATM I can only craft his gauntlets but this will do me nothing I guess. Better I will keep my Alatreon B. Anyway It is late and I am tired. I will try next time.

I beat him with a combination of Alatreon beta and Raging Brachydios beta armor so it's definetly possible!
I'd be happy to help you out with your build if you could specify what weapon youre using.

Don't worry as he's meant to be extremely hard to defeat. It took me about 30 attempts to defeat him for the first time. It just takes time and a lot of practice. I've revisited my own build several times over the course of those attempts.
Practice makes perfect and eventually you'll know his moveset by heart.

I got both the weapons and the armor to show before I even killed him once.

Then, I got 3 pieces of his armor by plunderblading before killing him the first time.

I even got 1 evil eye before killing him the first time.

So, in theory, you can get every single Fatalis equipment before killing him even once.

I've personally had a lot of luck with this one, as it only requires you to position and punish with a teir 1 charge with the greatsword when he puts down his head to do that wide cone of flame. He also demonstrates a bad RNG run in this video. If you've never played greatsword or just aren't used to it, go practice on the dummy in the training area until you get the timing right for the maximum amount of damage on the draw charge to hit his head. That's literally all you need to know about the weapon: just draw it and charge until you can hit for large damage on the third red flash.

The rest is learning to dodge his other attacks, haha. Done correctly, you'll never make it to Fatalis' third stage where his fire gets dangerous, making the second head break very easy comparative to all the other builds I've tried.
