Also, keep in mind you have one free augment point if you augment for affinity, so you could do an element augment or defense one.
That's why many Youtubers recommend the method lol but I guess you must think you know more than them. Who cares. It's not about max DEEPS dude, this is not no brain Fortnite pew pew pew. A game is about FUN and CHALLENGE. Good luck doing more DPS when you get killed and are dead lol.
People like you think they know everything. I've seen another elitist sweaty tryhard like you at MR 500 faint multiple times and fail the quest against arch tempered Nergi. Maybe he is you lol. Enough said. I soloed him at MR 50. It's about skill, not about MR and your elitist mindset.
Lol just because you're a diehard MHW fanboy, doesn't mean the developers are Godlike, perfect, don't make mistakes and bad design doesn't exist. I like a challenge, you don't seem to understand the difference between a fair challenge and bad design.
You can talk dishonest babble all you want on a forum but in the game, when your (bad) luck dictates Fatalis does a combo that knocks you down and then he does the cone firebreath attack with you in the middle, you're dead. It's impossible to get out of it in time. This is proof Fatalis is not about skill, it's about luck to not get too many bs bad designed combos. Not to mention if you're on a team of 4, your team mates will also faint to those combos which will make your quest fail. I know this happened to you many times but you like to pretend it didn't.
Are you talking about rarity 11 weapons that have max 7 slots? I was talking about a rarity 12 weapon, after the extra slots augments, it has 6 max slots, which only allows 2 augments:
- 3 slots for health augment
- 3 slots for attack or affinity augment
I'm not sure if you read my previous comment where I said I finally soloed Fatalis using the ZSD method lol. That means it worked.
You can tell that to the many Youtubers who suggest the ZSD method to beat Fatalis. What do you call ZSD? That's called fighting as well and if you know how to play switch axe, you know that's not the only attack I did, I had to do more attacks, which, guess what, are also "fighting more" lol basically i kept the whole fight FIGHTING him or I would never have defeated him like I did.
You know what else is considered fighting him? The cannons I shot at him in the start, the roaming ballista I used on him a few times, the dragonator and the ballistas.
Of course I was using max tool specialist, I tried to maximize every aspect of the build.
ZSD is an effective method against bad designed Fatalis for many reasons. While you do ZSD, you're getting a lot of healing, which will help you survive better. If you're on the ground, there's a much higher chance you'll get caught by one of his combos that will 1 or 2 shot you and then you see "QUEST FAILED".
In case of affinity augment, you're right, I was thinking about the attack augment which takes 3 slots.
Funnily enough, ZSD is actually p bad for getting the headbreak due to ZSD having negative part breaker values, youll only get the headbreak pre-phase 3 if the entire team solely focuses the head. If not, Power Axe will shatter the head like an egg.
yep ZSD doesn't do really good part damage, it just helping focus on head while dealing damage and healing, thats all, thats why i'm avoiding using power longer now and more focus on switching combo.
I got no idea why you made that angry post, everything I said still stands, you almost ran out of time by 15s while using the most ridiculous damage move of the game to the point I question the devs why they allowed this into the game.... it wasn't the augment that made you clear this time, you probably did something better during the fight than previous attempts, which was the entire point of my post btw
IF you keep fighting fatalis and learn the patterns you'll see the ground isn't as dangerous as you think it is now
You keep fighting a monster then you learn its patterns and get better, it's not rocket science, is it? it's the same for every monster.
Lol I didn't make an angry post. Just because someone disagreed with you, doesn't mean they are angry. Adults disagree about many subjects in rhe real world, it's natural and healthy.
A twitch streamer told me the first time he cleared Fatalis, he only had 1 second left. So? My point still stands, we FINISHED the mission solo. Did you finish your 1st Fatalis solo????????? here is a question I suspect will remain unanswered lol not convenient for your narrative, is it?
Do you bring your arguments to the many youtubers who recommend ZSD as an effective method against Fatalis? Because it is indeed effective, that's a fact you can't deny.
You say ZSD is the the most ridiculous damage move? Lol. It's clear you don't like ZSD, why, I don't know. It's an intended game mechanic, like any other, why not use it? Has many advantages.
I don't know why you would question ZSD, I see no problem with it.
I learned his patterns, don't you worry about what I learned or didn't learn, worry about what YOU LEARNED yes because you don't know everything. Everyone has something to learn.
It's not the same for every monster. Fatalis suffers from bad design, other monsters not so much. Your beloved devs are not perfect and are not Gods who make no mistakes, you know? They are just human beings like us.
I can bet Fatalis knocked you down before causing you to have a slow animation to get up. I'm sure your health wasn't full by then. If he then does the firebreath cone attack and you're in the middle of it getting up, your controls don't respond, you can't do anything, YOU WILL FAINT. You have fainted. If he does that and other badly designed combos on you, depends on luck, not on player skill.
I have no problem dying if only it was a fair challenge depending on someone's skill, but it isn't.
LOL
i rather go peak performance instead, because it easy charging it to amped tho. however if you need specific armor on that build and it has power prolong on it, maybe i consider like using alatreon.
