Monster Hunter 3 Tri Ultimate Steam?
Would be awesome if MH3 Tri Ultimate from the Wii U came onto Steam. Hope it does because that game had water fights and lots of different monsters in it than MHW.

Tri > 3U

While it would be cool, the game itself hasn’t aged particularly well.

simply buy the game and use the emu so you can enjoy 4k upscaling of low poly models

3U had 50 large monsters total. MHW:I has 71 large monsters total. 3U has the Leviathan and Ursine skeletons, MHW:I has 2 different skeletons for Fanged Beast (Lizard / Snake Wolf) as well as a unique skeleton for Fatalis. 3U is a terrible comparison to the variety of fights in MHW because it was held back by system limitations.

Would rather 4U be released so that people who started with World could experience "the game" all other MH are compared to. :steammocking:

i honestly do not miss relic weapon and armor farming... it was a neat idea though. some crazy easy sets could be made from it.

Relics were great in concept, horrible in execution. It's sad when Kulve had better RNG than Relics.

Fanged WYVERNS and Fanged BEASTS are two different classifications. It's why Zinogre used to be the only Fanged Wyvern till MHW came along.

Rest in peace Loc Lac.... MH Tri had and still has the best atmosphere and world building in the entire series, everything felt so grounded and mysterious that has been lost in the later games. The monsters in Tri really felt like they belonged in the world and made sense, it felt like they designed the monsters and areas togeather rather than build nice areas and put monsters in them like 3U, 4th Gen, and World.

The depressing part is you can't even get on Loc Lac because everything was tied to Capcoms own servers and Nintendos Wifi Connection. The information to connect and obtain the quests just isn't on the disk so you can't even emulate the servers like most other MH games. Loc Lac is forever gone.. (unless that server project ever gets completed)

It won't stop them, and that's their own fault for not giving us even at least a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port we could get to work well enough with modifications. Instead they pull their bs exclusive that's anti consumer and then wonder why people don't get a console for that one game that caught their eye and end up pirating if given the opportunity.

I'd drop 60 bucks for a crappy port knowing the community will fix it playable easily, and I'm pretty sure others would be willing too. Instead they want 300 + 60 bucks + monthly online fee which simply scares people off and makes them pirate if possible.

Either they have statistics showing their greed to work or they're stubborn believing they'd lose more money the other way around. I'd believe it's second, considering one of the reason we never got a pc monster hunter release was that capcom thought monster hunter wouldn't be popular in the west, especially not a pc port.

And yet the asian market had like what, 3 monster hunter titles for the pc?

And a MH Rise port would hardly require a lot of processing power, compared to what we have with world.
