MH: World - Iceborne DLC not added in the game

Hello, I'm new here.
I just purchased MHW last Dec 24, 2020 and then purchased MHW: Iceborne Digital Deluxe Kit after a few days. My question is why can't I feel that I have iceborne expansion in my system like these features:
I CAN'T do clutch claw to mount monsters.
My LS has NO new sheathed combo.

any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm currently HR13, 60hrs played.

The DLC has install column checked. is that good? is there a next step to that?

I guess that means it's installed. Maybe try verifying your game files? Right click on title in library > Properties > Local Files. By all means you should have Clutch Claw and new moves by now.

thank you Kawalorn. I saw the Local Files. But what should I look in there to verify I have it downloaded correctly?

The easiest way to untangle those situations is to just do a clean installation. Uninstall the game, remove the game's folder and it's contents if anything remains, and then download the game again. Takes time, but it ensures everything is as it should be.

The button "Verify integrity of game files". Just press it, let Steam do it's thing and check if it helped with anything.

i had no trouble with upgrading the game last jan
but i also can't remember if the claw was available from the very beginning or if you had to do the tutorial mission for it first and activate iceborne quest.

i just bought it, downloaded it, started the game, talked to the quest npc (feisty fiver) in astera and began the new story.

clutch claw was unlocked through the smithy

Talk to the Smithy. This will unlock a new Arena quest.
Go to the Quest Board and check the Optional Missions (LR 1Star) for 'Learning the Clutch'
Beat the Great Jagras Several Times Using Clutch Claw Techniques.

Did you buy the 24€ Iceborn or the 7€ item?
Because the 7€ Item Digital Deluxe Kit is the wrong one.

Or did you buy the package containing both.

Also, you definitely don't need to do the clutch claw tutorial to unlock it, new moves should be available from the start too. Source: I started a new save on a console 2 weeks ago and that's exactly how it worked.

only the deluxe kit not the master deluxe.
