It should be a few minutes after Phase 3 (50% of Fatalis HP).

Phase 3 starts after the levered gate is destroyed after raising it.

We hid behind the curtain that is also in the cutscene in the first fight but not behind the gate. After it was melted i have not seen the dragonator activate ... mhmm

That curtain just starts Phase 2. Fatalis will be at 80% HP.

You are not at Phase 3 yet.

To reach Phase 3, you need to make Fatalis 50% HP.

Then, you will need to hide behind the levered gate.

Once Phase 3 starts, you will have a few minutes more before the Dragonator.

The dragonator activates well into phase 3. He usually does another 2 more ultimates before.

That means your damage is far from enough. If you haven't seen the dragonator ready notification the entire 30 minutes, then you haven't done enough damage to even reach 50% the entire time.

The second phase starts at 75% HP, after the first nova where you hide inside the steel cave with flag curtain.

The third phase starts at 50% HP, after you're told to retreat into the fort and raise the gate and Fatalis melts it. Fatalis will come down and spread wings in full threat and power display. Its chest will glow red.

Your team SHOULD/MUST be able to reach this stage before 15 minutes or you're projected to fail the quest due to time limit.

The dragonator becomes available during the final stage of the fight. You'll see a notification that it's available when the final stage has lasted about 5 minutes.

There are a few other statistics that might be helpful to you. The first stage ends when he has lost 20% of his health. The second stage ends when he has lost 50% of his total health.

The third stage consists of multiple flying breath attacks where you have to move under him to avoid them and these all take place at certain health intervals.
He'll do this attack 3 times. The first triggers when he has 40% health remanining, the second one when he has 25% health remaining and the final one indicates that he's on his last legs and has 5% health remaining. You'll probably see the skull icon on the minimap after the last attack.

If you haven't seen the dragonator then you haven't reached the third stage yet in those 30 minutes. Are you using the cannons combined with the ghillie mantle and heavy artillery 2 in the first stage? Is your build fully optimised for this fight? Make sure that all your weapons and armor pieces are completely augmented.

Your DPS is definetly way too low if youre not reaching stage 3 in 30 minutes.
If you could post a screenshot of your current build then I'd be happy to take a look at it and help you out.

Fatalis is not scripted based on time, all of its big moves are scripted based damage done to it
That's why breaking the head takes priority over doing leg damage, if only people knew that one simple trick, instead of rushing to phase 3 just to get destroyed :winter2019joyfultearsyul:.

i usually get the alert its about to be ready at around 10 minutes, so i guess the timer starts once you get to the last phase according to you if you went through the whole 30 and it wasnt there.

Pretty sure Hander is lying through her teeth while she claims it's ready in a minute.

It's likely based off HP or something on whenever it's actually ready, because I could swear I've seen the message for a minute pop up, then some time later it gives the message again.

Maybe the second was for roaming balista? They both have that message and with everything going on it might get mixed up.

Pretty sure it wasn't. The situation I remember was that I saw the popup about a minute, then some time later figured I'll go wait at the lever and pull Fatty over there ready when it's up, and then it just never came up while I rolled around waiting forever. Then after carting while trying to wait it out it just gave me a 2nd popup at camp about Dragonator being ready in a minute.

Tried to google some dataminer results, but I'd wager it's based off health and the Handler timer announcement is an outright lie.

This is a run I did a few weeks ago. The dragonator is ready at 19.22.

Phase 3 started at 14.16. 14.22 if we count from the first normal attack Fatalis does after the roar that comes after destroying the gate.

So give or take, 5 min after Phase 3.

Phase 2 started at around 6.45 so that would be an extremely weird duration of 8min 37s if the timer were to start from Phase 2.

So, I am pretty sure it is based on Phase 3 + 5min.

the timer active at certain point % of fatalis health which probalby only active on phase 3, maybe around 5 minute later.

Anyway, just a minor note that the Roaming Ballista will do more damage than the Dragonator so make sure you got Heavy Artillery 2 equipped when you shoot it.

Heavy Artillery 2 does not work on the Dragonator.

For most people, this is gonna make or break your run so take note of it because often times I see randoms just rushing to use it but they don't have the Heavy Artillery 2 skill on.
