took the words right out of my mouth.
That said, if you don't have a preference, get MHW first.
Reason is simply because MHW has multiplayer and its lifecycle has ended.
This means less and less players will be playing it as time goes by since there are no more updates. Of course, it is perfectly playable solo but since the game only received its last update this month and the next installment is released on Switch in March 2021, the playerbase should remain around for some time.
Another reason is simply because Cyberpunk just released. This means likelihood of encountering bugs and optimization issues is higher. Playing it a little later will allow time for updates to be made.
cyperpunk is a bugfest right now , still has a good story (little bit short but still good, 15h only mainquest), iam waiting for the game of the year edition
mhw is big monster boss fight grinder at its end of lifecycle.
Who the hell buys a game like that for main quest only? You're better off burning the money.
Like cool monsters and a decent game that isn't riddled with bugs? MHW.
people make all the time silly buying decisions
Lesson learned to not get into hype trains tho, not gonna pre-order anything anymore.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game but it suffers from serious optimisation issues at the moment and it is a very buggy game as well. I would recommend waiting untill they optimise the game and untill they've fixed a lot of the bugs that plague the game. The game has very poor performance even on high end systems and these bugs can break the game.
Monster Hunter World is completely bug free and it has been optimised since it's release and the game should run well as long as you meet it's requirements. It also offers a lot of content especially with Iceborne, which should keep you busy for quite some time. Cyberpunk still needs time to be polished so you can always opt to get Cyberpunk when youre done with Monster Hunter World.
In terms of content both games differ drastically and it's impossible to compare them on that level.
I hope that this answers your question!
Didn't they also cut like 50% of the stuff they promised?
Utterly criminal that.
Don't really know but it seems like the main story is around 25 hrs, kinda short imo.
Before I get attacked by the CDPR fans (because no one can say anything negative about their beloved company), side quest are fun but only for a little while.
