I actually hate regular tigrex more, brute’s roar is easier to dodge than the tigrex rampage. Besides if you brake brute’s head it supposedly weakens its roars (can't confirm but ever since I knew about that I always target the head first and I barely have any trouble).
Yeah, no, jyuratodus is a reskin of lavasioth
Lavasioth's probably only hunted more because he was the target of what was for a very long time one of the best deco farming quests.
As for tigger, yes, headbreaks reduce the range of his stationary roar (probably the damage, too, though I didn't notice or specifically test that).
I mean, at least it is not Plesioth...
Weapon will never bounce off his skin and you'll deal full damage.
If the elemental damage actually did something of value it might have changed that but since it doesn't go nuts with fire weapon on him.
Also he isn't that bad.
and as for how Brute Tigrex might be a less fought monster, that could have to do with events, or his infrequent availability, including assignments?
Availability is my guess, cant fight him until MR70 (events not included) and some players dont go that far and quit after shara when the game actually begins
Yes. Torch pods will do fire damage and melt the magma coating. I've fought it with gunlance shells. I've fought it with fire weapons. I've fought it using slinger bursts. I've fought it with mind's eye. I've fought it with bombs. No method of softening the lava shell changes the fact that once it does break, that part's defensive values become HIGHER than the melted lava shell, and can no longer be melted. It's not a hard fight by any stretch of the imagination. It's just horrendously dull.
And yes, I do know about screamer pods, too. >_<
