[WEAPON CONTROL HELP] Insect Glaive (PC)

How the heck do I launch myself on pc controls because I'm following the training thing and it either just pulls up the aim to fire insect or the item wheel jksdnfjsnkdf

Do you have a mouse with side buttons? If not, that could be the problem. The default key bindings are side button 1 + space.

It should be [Evade] + [Guard/Special Action].
(For me it's Space + Ctrl, but I'm not sure if I changed the bindings)

For IG, the "Special Action" button is the one for "Kinsect (Mark Target)" (where you slap with the back of the Glaive, leaving a yellow mark).

Yeah with space + ctrl it pulls out the wheel or crosshair

Well if you want to stick with the default bindings, the one I'm referring to is closest to the front of the mouse.

Also after the insect collects all 3 of the numbers how do ya use it's ability? (Sorry I I haven't played in such a long time I forget everything)

Oh right. You don't have any control over that. The kinsect will automatically produce them at preset intervals if you mark the monster and leave the kinsect out to attack.

Essentially by pressing the same forward side-button you use to vault. While either:
Grounded and not aiming (a slap with the back of the glaive).
Aiming (shoots a projectile).
In the Air ('Descending strike').

These will leave a mark that the Kinsect will attack autonomously, producing clouds over time.
