SmartHunter not working?
What the title says. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it no longer works for me after Iceborne.

Just letting you know, if you're using that mod, keep all those stats to yourself. The last thing that any players wanted is to have someone type, "Monster have XXX HP left". Or "This guy does XXX Damage", "that guy does XXX damage". No one wants to see it.

We don't wanna see numbers coming from smarthunter users. I had this happen countless times and it ruins the hunt so again, keep those numbers to yourself.

Second this, as anybody who needs this garbage handicap can download it themselves. Speaking of cheats like SmartHunter, isn't the name itself ironic given who it's designed for?

I like the damage meter because it tells me if in being helpful to the fight

Yeah definitely recommend the switch to HunterPie, it's a lot easier on the eyes and the customization is quite lovely and intuitive. Not to mention the extra bits and bobs it offers to remind forgetful individuals to refresh our damn soft soil ;_;

SmartHunter was always temperamental for me. It's not bad at all, but by default without a lot of adjusting it's quite cluttered and HunterPie seems to be supported much more actively.

Hit the monster, maybe throw in an assist or a heal if needed here and there, and don't die. It's that simple lol. Monster Hunter isn't an MMO, so that dps mindset is best left at the door imo.

I don't want to be a leech and be carried. It gives me peace of mind to know I'm not slowing othe people's game down.

Don't let these guys tell you how to play. As long as you aren't being a jerk and sharing DPS in chat or calling other people out or whatever, use whatever overlay you want. Some people want to dictate the proper way for others to enjoy their game. -_-;
