What should be end game stats?
I mean dmg (I know it depends from the weapon - but lets say charge blade + great sword), and defence and of course skills (this I think depends from the build - right?)

1000+ defence for your armour suit, fully augmented and upgraded.

No idea about the weapons attack ratings, they're different between each weapon. Hammer is 1600 - 1800 attack, though. This hits around 2100 with the appropriate buffs in combat. I think Greatsword is 1200 - 1400?

Pretty much whatever attack rating you see on a Raging Brachydios, Safi'Jiiva weapon with Attack V awakenings, or Fatalis weapon I suppose!

Damn and i thought my 900 is good....

If you are using fatalis weapons then all weapons should have 340 to 390 base attack (except LBG which has 285). If you are using safi weapons, then it should be around 325 base attack (except for those weapons that don't use all attack awaken abilities). All numbers above don't consider any attack skills. They are the status of the weapons themselves. The multiplier for CB is 3.6, so dividing whatever number you are seeing in game by 3.6 will give you the base attack of the CB you are using.

I mean it's not bad, just it can be better (most likely just needs augmentations to allow you to increase the defense rating further)

For defense, end-game gear usually gives around 1000 to 1050.

Well, I was talking about "true" end game weapon damage in Master Rank, I didn't consider High Rank, my apologies if you meant vanilla World instead. It's been a long time since then for me though.

If I recall, my Hammer had 1100 attack and my armour set was at around 600 defence though, at the end game of vanilla Monster Hunter World. Generally, the best weapons you can use in vanilla will come from Kulve Taroth or be the Defender V weapons of any given tree.

Generally speaking though as long as you use the appropriate highest rarity equipment (R8 for vanilla, R12 for Iceborne) you'll be doing alright!

For armor you have to have more then a 1000 in your defence stat. With fully augemented Fatalis gear you can have more then 1100. I'm assuming you meand end game stats on a meta set?

The best armor set overal is the Fatalis armor and the best raw weapons are the Fatalis weapons. The best elemental weapons are usually the Kjarr weapons for everything, but dragon element. The best dragon element are the Alatreon weapons. Keep in mind that there are exceptions to this.

The best GS is the Black Fatalis Blade, which has 1632 attack.

The best CB is a bit more situational due to the fact that the CB can be really strong with elemental CB's, but it's raw damage can be pretty great as well with the proper build.
CB has such a wide range of effective builds then it is a bit harder to give you a definitive number. The best CB's for raw are still the Safi and raging brachydios CB's if I'm not mistaken and the best elemental CB's are the Kjarr weapons. The best dragon element CB is the Alatreon CB.

I hope that this answers your question! I could look up the exact numbers of my CB and GS builds if you wish.

Thanks! I want to get dante sword + as it looks cool and create my build around it. I cant stand the look of normal CB as it look so crappy...

We have layered weapons now. You can use fatalis CB then have dante CB layered on it so it looks like dante CB.

What? Where are layered weapons?!

If you have the Iceborne DLC then you can go the smithy and select augment weapon.
Then you can select layered weapons and from there you can customise your weapon of choice to your liking. All weapons can be used as a layered option and since the most recent patch we also have access to layered versions of every armor in the game.

You need to obtain at least one type of GL monster material to unlock that function. It is in the augmentations. For dante layered weapons I think you need tickets from HR AT teo and the dante collaboration quest.
