It will return on the 16th as that's when the new halloween event starts. All previous event quests should be available during the festival including The Last White Knight.

Theyre definetly useful. The Kjarr weapons that can be obtained from MR Kulve Taroth are also excellent choices against Alatreon.

I have all the LS from safi, but the stats on the frostfang longsword such as straight awaay 540 ice seem more useful, especially since farming safi is boring to me now.

That's true, but theyre the best choice for Alatreon and theyre also the best elemental weapons in the game. The low sharpness doesn't matter as they all have critical element.

The Safi armor combined with the Kjarr weapons is currently the strongest elemental set and when fighting Alatreon, elemental damage is all that matters. This set can reliably and easily beat Alatreon and it's the best option against him for almost every weapon.
If you want to use dragon element then ironically enough, the Alatreon weapons are the strongest option. The Kjarr dragon weapons will still dish out enough damage to beat him though.

I highly recommend using the kjarr weapons combined with the safi set if youre struggling with Alatreon.

Honestly while I wouldnt use this personally, I dont mind people that would, the whole time gating on events is dumb and should not have been introduced, the old way of events was much better, at least with that mod they still have to earn the items instead of being given them for free.

there is plenty of stuff i think that is WRONG with this game personally. that still is no excuse to cheat. like i said before. if you cheat. be honest about it and dont try to excuse it. and never suggest it as a solution to new players.

It's weird that you can kill as many non tempered Frostfang Barioth as you want and not be able to upgrade his armour lol, I have a friend who has killed like 19 of him and he can't make the armour or weapons because he missed out on the Tempered Frostfang event quest...at least he'll be prepped to make it all after a single kill once his event comes back, eh?

I guess the unlock is tied to the ticket, rather than any other materials..
