Nah, just kidding. That seems like an unfortunately pretty common disconnect error that everyone experiences, it comes and goes and sometimes can be very intrusive and obnoxious. I don't actually know of any fixes beyond maybe changing your NAT to open if you can and maybe having decent internet. You can try "tricking" the game into letting you play by joining some random session and then going back to your private session, even switching who is hosting can help as well.
Normally whenever I'd start a play session with friends, there'd be the one or two initial disconnects, and then it would level out. If it didn't, we'd all randomly matchmake someone else and then one of us would make a session and everyone would join into it, and the issues would go away. I don't know if that'd work for you - it feels like less of a guaranteed fix and just some old wives tale clap your hands if you believe or something, lol. Maybe try resetting your routers and maybe even restarting Steam as well?
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
If it's happening constantly though without fail that's pretty unusual, I guess it might be because of the recent update causing problems or something? Maybe there's increased server load at the moment and it's messing with your latency?
secondly, i have gig speed internet and i'm on a hardline and get this and other disconnect issues from time to time as well, capcom used steam peer 2 peer for matchmaking, and then there is a service on their end you need connection to as well, and throw in whoever is host and whatever their network issues might be. they created many fail points in their network structure that sometimes results in entire lobbies just getting booted from the online service. this is typically completely full raid rooms for safi or kulve taroth.
yep. probably thanks to their latest update.
this is how capcom do, since 2018 for mhw.
