Monster Hunter: World

Is it just me or is Reshade not working anymore?
Can't get the overlay to pop up and its not applying its filter to my game. Anyone using Reshade with the same issue?

There's no need to be an ass. ReShade is a popular tool, and it's been confirmed that other third-party tools such as NIVIDA Experience and Steam Overlay (or even Origin Overlay) have stopped working. If those aren't issues worth concerning about, then I'm afraid you're being an ass just for the sake of it.

Thank you for this! Had to switch back over to DX11 but its worth it.

yeah, who are we to tell a developer that charges a first rate price for a third rate experience that their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ software is ♥♥♥♥♥♥? the nerve.
DX11 it is for now. No MHW without reshade.
Surprisingly, it also broke translations such as GER and others.

At least it didn't break a specific brand of CPU/GPU.

go to the game's folder and change (rename) dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll... that worked for me :HentaiGirlLinda_like:

Nexus does scan for viruses, yes, but your computer might flag the program as a virus (mine flags it as Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml). Seems to get flagged because the program injects .dll files
If you guys switch from DX12 to DX11, and reinstall reshade, it does work. Just doesn't if you're using DX12 in your in game display settings. (Make sure to edit the name of the dx files to d3d11)

most of the plugin or .dll indeed inject stuff, that how the thing work. more like false positive case

It works but not using Directx12 drops my fps from 110~ to 50~ :rcry:. I guess we'll have to wait and see if someone finds a way for directx12 to work.

Currently using dx12, this did the trick for me.
