The game can be played with a PS4 controller, but I'm not entirely sure whether theyre officially supported. You might need to use an external tool to get it working. The PS5 controller will probably need to be set up in the same manner.

If you haven't gotten a controller yet then I would recommend getting an XBOX controller as these tend to be officially supported by most games and it is less of a hassle to use them. Just plug them in and then they should work.

I've only tested mine out with this game wired and it does work. Wireless should also work fine but you might have to use DS4 Windows and mess around with some settings. My mobo bluetooth and the CSR4 dongle I had laying around were not strong enough to support this controller without latency issues, so I've switched to wired for now.

Ps5 controller is fully supported, just needa opt into the current steam client beta. I tested mine out and it works perfectly.

Yes, PS5 (dualsense) controller works beautifully with Steam client beta. Fully customizable similar to PS4 controller. The rumble feels different, more subtle but also more nuanced than the PS4.

Now if only other game clients do the same thing ><
