consumable item farming (demon drug/ armor skin/ max life/ ect)

What are the best ways to make a stockpile of items mentioned in the title. I got iceborne this past week and discovered the steamworks it gives alot of ancient potions the + max stam and max life pill and other things like tranq bombs ect. I am just wanting to get caught up on my item stash since I came over from xbox and wondered if trying to farm steamworks + the ancient tree is a good way to build up my stockpile.

The steam works give you infinite potions, and the steam tickets that it gives you can be melded for the mega demon drugs and mega armorskins for those arch tempered.

But for the demon drug and armor skin its best to stick with the tree and remember to refresh the “fertilizers” to maximize the output.

Certain bounties/quests let you farm ingredients at the botanical center once completed. Then you just set it to cultivate certain things, and you'll get a certain amount after every quest. You can change this with fertilizers. Check out this guide:

I know about the tree I was just making sure there wasn't any super optimal ways of gaining more now that I got the dlc.

yes. asap in iceborn, get your quests done to unlock 4 botany slots for the ancient tree.

other ideas:
-always collect all materials in your quests. mine everything, gather all bones. sell none of these.

can be used for steamworks fuel, or to meld for mega demondrug or mega armordrug - save your catalyst mats for recovery items.

-set argosy to consumables. beware the rng high prices for low tier crap though.

-build a mr farming set that maxes out all the gathering skills and use that to do a few laps around the maps that feature stuff you need. also a great source of green research pts.

Do the Zinogre event for coal, get a bunch of steamwork tickets, meld consumable items.

Also get your farm up and running with all 4 slots and soft soil.
