This is not the best control scheme. The issue you're describing will most likely not just affect IG.
The Vault for IG cannot be a single button as it requires "Weapon Special Action" and "Dodge/Crouch".
Game does not like and want ALT/SHIFT/CTRL + [ANY KEY HERE] to work on what we'd think it should work. Might mess up on the explanation here, there are inputs that require M1 + M2, but it's because they... combine these actions to be a single key for that single purpose like a combo, but we can't do it on "individual" keys like how people can freely configure their mmo settings. Macros should work, but that's a lot of trouble already to add on.
I've made a similar post to someone having an issue rebinding keys, but I wasn't sure if it was their mouse keys being set to shift or they're affected by a bug that I don't know of.
EDIT : I'd figured to put this segment here for the future if you're wanting to try out ranged, IB made control bindings a pain of "What do you mean it won't work? There's no conflict at an active period" for the ranged controls
Issue with this is there'll be something really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing when you try ranged weapons thanks to capcom. One of the solutions I had for this bizarre sudden change of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was turning fire slinger into the reload key while clutch clawed onto a monster, this prevented me from using M3 that I normally use to do so as melee. It turned into a claw attack.
Solution was to turn both of these in CTRL instead. You'll probably find more annoying issues like these, probably.
Also has that clutch claw controls to do something along the lines of "Ranged Only", I really don't want to experiment with it again.
