Gunlance goes boom I guess.
I beat Alatreon Solo without an ele weapon, ofc it was hard as it was first time for me but the next time it was easier cause i knew what he would do.
Ele weapon definitely has an advantage over Alatreon but its not needed so long as you know what to do.
If it's for the weaker Alatreeon then yes that is possible for most people.
But the full strength one it's not that easy. There is quite a bit of RNG involved depending on what attack he does and how often he stays close to you.
I like the HBG Pierce and got a pretty good build. When I went solo against him with some cheated mantles that makes Temportal mantle last basically forever I could focus quite a lot on just filling him with pierce shots. I just got tired of him and his dps check.
I took me to his second nova before I killed him and my HBG does 30-45 on the first few hits on weakened parts.
Wounding Alatreon parts without Temporal mantle or Rocksteady is ridiculous hard because he has such short delays between each attack.
Being 2 people with the same setup has it easier because you can reach his stun cap quicker but you're looking at least 1 nova.
You need some serious dps if you want to kill it before it's first nova when he's at full strength. That often comes with having to have less than 30% health so any hit would kill you.
Or maybe even need fatalis HBG.
I was almost able to kill him before the first nova.
I have used Gunlance on other monsters so I wonder, how much did each boom do to him?
I didn't use wyvern fire tho.
