Why no more continued support? This game is a gem
As much as people bash certain concepts such as clutch claw and tenderizing this game is a well done polished gem that could receive continued support for the next 5 years +.

Why not just have a seperate team keep this game up? Final fantasy has so much teams working on their projects, why can't Monster Hunter do the same?

The game is complete. It's more profitable to support a game short-term and then move on to the next project instead of sticking around for many years while interest and profit dwindles.

This isn't an mmo/live service game. And that's for the best.

They did, but the servers were shut down due to the system being outdated(?)
Even at that point, ppl would already be complaining about the power creeps like they did for Frontier and Online
Edit: sorry, I meant as in "they did have an MMO style occasional updating style MH"

the game is INCOMPLETE. They dropped AT MR monsters including Safi cuz Capcom lost money during Covid and they don't care about the most success they have ever seen as a company enough to finish what they started. Check the data mines noob

But it's not. As far as I know they make Fatalis because most of funs pray for them, but in opposite - they scrapped AT Safi and AT Shara. I agree that AT versions of Teostra and other base game elders is not necessary, but this two is obviosly missed.

Also, as far as I know, game files have 6th slot for Safi weapons and one more dracolite type, that stay unused. AT Safi is also possibility to add essences of post Safi added monsters, include Alatreon. But it's wasted now.

And about non monster related layered - at the end they just dropped bunch of event quests with various tickets to complete your collection.

My personal opinion about that: CAPCOM stop with Iceborne too early. Game still popular and have bunch of new players even now, after 3 years.

The video you linked just shows one unused asset, which is something common in any game's development, and a bunch of "Wouldn't it be cool if...?" thoughts.

Calling rage gaming's videos unbearable isn't anything remotely resembling "hate speech".

The channel is crap.

It is entirely made of clickbait garbage "ULTIMATEBUILD!" and "lolyellingfunny". It's one of the only vaguely popular channels worse than gaijin hunter.

You being mad someone doesn't like a channel you like doesn't make you right.

You realize there are monsters referenced in the data files from the base game that were never added too, right? Like Oroshi Kirin?
