How to get specific level 1 decorations?
Progression wise, I'm already at Iceborne, around MR3 quest and have yet to fight Nargacuga and Glavenus, so that's me. Now I haven't been paying attention on decorations drop rates since I haven't used any until I fought Xeno on base world, but now I noticed that I am severely lacking in specific jewels while I am still looking for some.

Jewels that I have for some reason:
- Antidote Jewel (x3 or more)
- Miasma Jewel (x3 or more)
- Pep talk (anti sleep which i used agains that Black Paolumu, x3)
- Surplus of elemental resistance jewels such as Thunder Resist, or Fire Resist, or Ice Resist.

While I am happy to have these, I mostly wonder if hunting specific monsters repeatedly allowed me to get these jewels. Do specific monsters have higher drop rates on specific jewels or something?

Because I need stuff like Suture, or more Attack Jewels (I know how to get the 1st two), or Guard jewels, or Artillery Jewels yet I don't get any. Like come on, I don't need 4 of the same type of elemental resistance jewel or mushroomancer :/

No, there's no specific drop rates from specific monsters. Just quests that have a higher chance to give certain ranks of sealed stones in the rewards, such as The Name's Lavasioth having a high rate on the highest base game stones.

Oh, I only did that quest once. I'll check on that stuff on doing "certain quest with higher chance on sealed stones". I am actually annoyed that Elder Melder mostly has crap decorations available for melding. I mostly never get the stones that I want.

That aside, thanks for the info!

Unfortunately, in looking at decorations, you've stumbled on one of the most irritating points of this game. There are a couple free ones, the ones you can create at the melder, and other than that, you're completely at the mercy of random drops.

You CAN get a fair number of steel melding tickets from the steam machine in seliana though.

Those can be turned in for random decorations at the melder.

Iceborne adds a few more once you beat the story. But otherwise, they're mostly crap.
Btw, I have I am also lost with regards to Wyverian Rituals and Streamstones. I know you get them from "Tempered Investigations" which I haven't unlocked for some reason despite doing the quest that lets you kill two tempered suicide bomber bois..

I'm lost.. 😢

You get investigations from picking up tracks. You get tempered investigation from picking up tempered monster's tracks. Go into High Rank expedition and you will find some, or just go into any quest with Tempered monsters (optional/assigned/event), walk around and look for tracks.

Oh, I honestly didn't know that gathering tracks allows you to gain investigations. I just gather them for the points. The only tempered quest I can repeat now is the one where I have to kill two Bazels. Would that do?

You have a chance to get investigations whenever you slain a monster, broke a part, or picked up tracks. Normal monsters only give normal investigations, tempered monsters only give tempered investigations. I recommend reading wiki page for more detailed explanation about tiers and stuff.

Oh yeah I totally forget about this. I think 1 is gathering mushrooms (A.Forest) and another is gathering blue crystals (E.Recess). These 2 quests are designed for players to get investigations easier.

also check out the quest "The Greatest jagras" you hunt a giant Great Jagras who leaves feystones behind when he uses his barf attack, can get like 20-30 jewels off that thing. Most will be T1 with a few T2 and T3 mixed in
