Best blast dual blades?

Okay, before anyone tells me that it's a poor idea and element is the only way to go... I know.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna walk up to Alatreon with blast dual blades or anything, I just wanna make a set for those times when you wanna chill and have fun and set the world ablaze with explosions.

So what should I go for with these? Brachy? Raging brachy? (They're getting layered to these anyway, damn those look sweet) Safi? Kjarr? Something else?

safi or raging brachy. safi is slightly stronger but the difference is minimal.

Are the raging Brachydios dual blades alright DPS wise compared to non kjarr elemental dual blades?

they're pretty decent.

also, raw DBs are better on some monsters with bad elemental hitzones.
on top of my head, i know blast is better against zinogre, (maybe stygian too? i don't remenber) ruiner nerg, and both rajangs.

Pretty sure that stygian has trash elemental values, I was hunting him the other day to upgrade something and none of my weapons were a great match.

just checked: he has bad elemental hitzones when normal, but very high ones when charged.
