Are Safi Weapon good at all?

Hi, yes for an example Safi Hellblade it has 891 Damage 180 Fire elemental and 5% affinity
When i compare that to my Wyvern Blade Empyrean which has 792 Damage 20% Affinity and 330 Fire elemental
It goes down and Wyvern Blade Empyrean is not even the last upgrade in the Rathalos tree...

It depends on the weapon type and build. There are plenty of Safi weapons in the meta builds, like the Safi Shatterlance, Safi Shatterhammer or Safi Aquabolt.
You gotta remember you can upgrade the Safi weapons with lots of things like dmg, affinity, sharpness or even 1 point for set bonuses.
If you google for iceborne meta build ( https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterMeta/comments/g9zwbj/iceborne_meta_builds_compilation_safijiiva_edition/ ), you can see they get used in quite a few endgame builds.

and you can also augmented them right ?

You can awaken Safi weapons and by that, you can add more attack, sharpness, etc. you can even stack them. Also you can add an armor skill point of your choice.

On top of those, you can augment the weapons to go even further beyond.

Use google first and then forums. Like legit type mhw how to awaken safi weapon and you will find many results.

They're very good once fully awakened/upgraded.

safi weapons can have armor skills, so it allows many builds that are not possible. like having 2 sets of 3pc armor skills.

Using the dracolite you get from Safi. People generally farm Safi for more dracolite so they can roll more awakenings.

Yes, and compare having attack VI and 3 attack V, plus having that safi weapon count towards a set bonus vs other weapons. Fully awakened Safi weapons often have THE highest amount of raw damage compared to others, plus allow for armor combos that other weapons cannot do. Plus come with a deco slot to boot.

It can be a slog to get the dracolite, but end game is just grinding really. Or speed running if that is your thing.

Don't use Safi weapons then? Raging Brach LS is very comparable to Safi Shatterblade with the proper awakenings, so you could just use that.

The people that use Safi weapons do so because of the versatility of being able to build any element or status with personally tailored stats and/or 1 piece of a Set Bonus.

If that doesn't appeal to you, just use something else.

only 40-50 attack? you can stack multiple of the same skill in each slot. you can get safi weapon attack damage pretty high dude, although I personally don't take attack as an awakening skill usually
