Protective polish jewel

Hi there,

I've been trying to get this jewel via the melder but it seems you cannot get it from the silver melding tickets (I've used someting like 500 silver tickets).

So is the only way to get it is via the Warped Feystones or is there an another way ?

The best method would be The Name's Lavasioth event quest.

Best way is to either farm the High Rank Event Quests: The Greatest Jagras or The Name's Laviasioth. You can also just wait till October 1st and it will become available for melding.

dont bother farming for this currently tc. youll regret your life in just 3 weeks from now. once the next update hits on 1st of october you can MELD this decoration at zero effort the second the update is downloaded.

same is true for guard up etc.

seriously. do not bother farming for these anymore right now. youll regret it. instead farm the high tier level 4 decos instead with the current eventquests. way better use of your time in the long run. youll need em sooner or later anyway.

Nerevar is right though. Assuming you actually can wait 3 weeks and don't go back on rotation or some such, you are much better off waiting.

Some people have spent over hundreds of matches against "The Name's Lavasioth" and still haven't gotten the jewel to drop. I've done the grind, on TWO characters, and it took well over a hundred per character before I got lucky.

It is SOUL crushing WORK.

It's not fun gameplay and it doesn't change your playstyle that much at the end of the day, all it does is burn you out on the game.

With the jewel basically becoming FREE in 3 weeks time, why bother with the asinine grind? Even if you do the fight every day for the next 3 weeks, the odds of getting it are STILL low.

The only reason I pushed through it was because I have a lot of free time and I had audiobooks and podcasts to listen to so I could basically zone out, but I never had fun with it, and had I KNOWN they would become meldable, I definitely wouldn't have bothered.

Still though. You're saying that he should be allowed to play the way he wants without criticism. But it seems pretty clear that he DOESN'T want to grind nonstop for these jewels and would rather meld them. At that point, might as well wait. I think that's what people mean when they tell him not to waste his time.
