I like my long skirt like waist pieces like ingot and MR lunastra for fashion purposes. Just feels different when you fight in a battle dress. Also how i pull something like this off

those come with skills i like. good deco slots

and it looks like bloodborne.
wich is the whole reason i refuse to take it off.

edit: i also use the layared rathian switch axe skin with that set. friend reccomended that specific weapon skin.

Gotta love that yharnam style, but that's a very different kind of hunter.
Edit: use the scythe-style greatsword or a switch axe to complete your theme.

Agree, this one tops many. Next in line: Nami and Girros. Lastly, Kushala - the impassive steel warrior looks exotically good (costs oodles tho).

I'm a user of the Odogaron layered set (mixed alpha and beta). It looks really good on just about everything, and it pairs pretty well with the Safi weapons, which I find myself using a lot.

In terms of combat, it's a little mixed for me. Depends on the purpose and weapon. I'll run Kushala when I want to go more for evasion, I'll run Teostra if I'm using Insect Glaive, and Safi'Jiva's pretty darn good as well.

I've been using a Frostfang α/β mix since I got it as a base for my HH sets. It looks really good if you're in Hoarfrost Reach or the Guiding Lands tundra, but out of place everywhere else.

Functionally, I really enjoy Vaal Hazak's Super Regeneration + Peak Performance combo. It's extremely easy to fit into sets since it only takes two slots - usually helmet and arms.

Namielle α with the Rainbow dye looks really nice and is a good base for Bow sets, shame that the γ version dyes the material and not the lights. It also pairs well with the Wiggler head, the glossy elastic skin-like texture is very similar between the two.

Layered Great Girros is peak fashion.

Currently experimenting with the Ebony Odogaron β hat and the Blossom set to make a mariachi outfit.

guild palace MR version is insanely good looking aswell.
brute tigrex looks very hunter like. also neat.

the vaal hazak gamma set is great on my hunter. the silver face screen and glowing cape/armor effect is awesome. just sucks its so weak against fire.

Alatreon mixed with blackveil beta and coloured the same ashen black colour. the two sets look lovely together

Oolong except for the arms and Odogaron High Rank for the styles. I still enjoy using the old Meta, Kaiser 3 armour pieces, 1 Brute Tigrex and 1 Yian Garuga.

2 piece of gold rath, 2piece of raging brach, 1piece of frost barioth are ideal set for me.

as for visual, i really like something "light-armored", which not all leather but some iron too.

Possibly the Passion Set (especially the HPN mod versions of it. Just take a wild guess at which of those is my favorite).
It is already good for harvesting and carving plus it has no glaring elemental weaknesses so it is my go-to for whenever I don't need an armor strong to a specific element when hunting a powerful Master Rank monster.
