Winged Seraphyd or Mammoth Greataxe II? (Greatswords)

Im a bit new with dmg data (raw dmg, sharpness, multipliers...) so I just wanted to know which one is better, Winged Seraphyd with white sharpness and 1296 attack, or Mammoth Greataxe II with blue sharpness and 1344 attack.

This would really help me to understand the value of greatsword dmg types ;)

It depends on what combo move your doing, what part you hit, what monster you are hunting, and what element is effective.

Best weapon is the Winged Seraphyd, the Mammoth Greataxe II may have a higher raw attack, but the key factors are sharpness and element effectiveness.

Excluding some factors, the multipliers for blue and white sharpness are respectively 1.2x and 1.32x and element sharpness is respectively 1.0625x and 1.15x and the Greatsword multiplier is 4.8x and this would be a rough estimate for an average hit with any attack boosts:

Mammoth Greataxe II - 633.5
Winged Seraphyd - 739.8

(also the element on the Mammoth Greataxe II is sealed so you would need Lv3 Release Skill)
