How Is The Playerbase On PC vs Console?
Which platform do you guys think has more active players? At the time of writing this Steam said there's nearly 90k players online at 3am. Not sure where to find the PS4 statistics for it.

Pc probably has more longevity due to mods and whatnot, but I'm not 100% certain. Both communities are great for the most part.

What would we gain from that? I mean, we could guess that more console players are playing than PC during the US gaming rush hour vs anytime in Europe, but it would serve no purpose.

I'm not asking "What is a playerbase?", I was asking what it was like on PC. I didn't make the post to wax philosophical with you.

Okay just wondering. I have the base game on PC and I like doing co-op but it seems rather rare to match with anyone. Also, how intrusive is the DRM?

Probably the PS4 Has a bit more popular playerbase, but i think this is with any game that is also on the PS4. Unless that game relies more on keyboard and Mouse then yeah it might be more popular on PC.

But in this case this game is meant for either controller or KB and Mouse which means yeah the PS4 For sure has a more popular playerbase.

But i can find people easily on PC no issues whatsoever, if u are worrying of not finding anyone don't be it is really easy. The only problem i have is sometimes i get an error disconnection but i think this is also a PS4 problem because i had this on the demo on PS4 aswell.

It only pings (the drm) you once an update from what I understand. They might remove it eventually, I'm not sure. Denuvo sucks but it's actually not bad here.

The issue is most ppl playing are in iceborne, but you could find people. Not positive. Icebornes on sale rn tho

There is a noticable difference between skill levels. Playing with random people on the PS4 is much less painful, you get a lot more people who know what they're doing and also significantly more veterans who are good enough to carry the whole hunt. That's the reason I stopped playing the game on the PC entirely. That's all probably because MH is a console exclusive game originally, so most of the old, skilled players mostly play it on the consoles still, especially the Japanese players who are the most consistently good as far as skill level goes.
