How to get Tempered / Standard Velkhana to spawn in Guiding Lands?
Coral level 6. Been flipping back and forth between maps to refresh the monster loadout for 20 minutes now, still no Velk. Any suggestions? Ty.

Edit:

Of course as soon as I post this standard Velk shows up. Question still stands for tempered, is he level 7?

All Elder Dragons need the region they spawn in to be level 7 in order for them to arrive tempered.

So for Velkhana, any single region, except Volcanic, needs to be level 7 and the Velkhana needs to spawn in (or have a lure set to) that region.

why don't you simply ask in a gl session if someone lures one for you than craft some lure on yourself ...
or post session id
velkhana is pretty common same as nergi

kinda wish they did more with guiding lands. i get that its an area mainly for augments/layered armor. but i was really wishing that killing monsters there would give their normal materials too xD but maybe thats me. i like me an area that has unlimited level of grinding.
