Don't know anything about SA
0 hunts with it and don't care about learning anything from it.
GS is pretty much the standard, raging gs, 3 pieces of teo and 2 from raging to get agitator secret. You can also go for a punishing draw build with one piece from frosty but it's kinda terrible in multiplayer as the KO threshold gets super high really fast.
Bottom line, for Charge Blade and Switchaxe it depends if you want to play a raw build or an elemental one. In each case, the armour you want to equip differ significantly (as the jewels you slot). This is especially true for Switchaxe, where some elements (i.e. dragon) prefer specific set of armour for meta builds, instead of the more widespread ones (Safi Armour).
As for GS, again it depends on how you use it: generalist builds, draw build, frostcraft build (Velkhana bonus set)…
For SA, meta is a Teo/Raging Brachy mix with Blast Safi SA.
For element, full Safi armor with a Kjarr SA, making sure you have whatever ele at lvl 6.
For dragon element, Alatreon SA, with 3 piece Safi and 2 Piece Alatreon.
