Why is Fatalis such a big deal?
Forgive me if i sound ignorant to old players, MHW is my first monster hunter game and i saw all the hype for fatalis and how everyone keeps saying he's the king of black dragons and the strongest of them all but how is that exactly? aside from the story i heard about its equipment being cursed or alive after death it looks less dangerous than Alatreon, i mean Alatreon can control all the elements while Fatalis looks like your typical Dragon that breathes fire. shouldn't Alatreon be stronger?

its the first big bad in the monster hunter games. Its also canonically the most destructive dragon, being able to fell and obliterate entire kingdoms. They have yet to do it justice to its lore in a game. This might be a good chance to do it justice.

AFAIK it was the big main bad dragon and the final boss in the very first monster hunter game. So a big deal to long time fans.

Fatalis is a big deal, because lorewise, he is the strongest monster in existance. However, his past fights have been dissapointing at best. After Alatreon was extremely insane, people are hopeful Fatalis will top that. Plus, theyre being extremely secrative about his fight and his armor skills so theres a bit of hype. I'm skeptical until we see more.

i doubt after all the cry babies when alatreon came out fatalis will be easy.

i learned people dont wanna put any effort at all want things easy like great jagras you have end game gear the best gear possible there should be a challenge = to your gear i hope they make him really hard.

in MH Universe Many hunters died and never return who fought Fatalis.

Who wears Fatalis armour it will consume ur body flesh making into Fatalis u will hear the victims screaming inside of ur head the scale of fatalis slowly resurrected again no one knows about this (that's the curse)

hm to bring some challenge into safi fight oh pls serious the same boring ♥♥♥♥
hm what is the challenge in alatreon fight, oh come on again ..... boring give us something new challenging

iam pretty sure fatalis will simply have a similiar gimmick.

I dunno.
Something about putting salsa on some hot fish and then screaming because it is too spicy.

to put it simply alatreon is jack of all trades master of none while fatalis practicing the arts of fire element since it's born

..You know what this means, Get ready for another siege fight, probably safi 2.0

if they want to do this dragon any kind of justice he likely isn't going to be a just a one and done quest fight.

don't look back at the old games for what fatalis is the engine wasn't up to what fatalis is meant to be i think this version is the closest were gonna have to match the lore now that we have the tools

I see you're a man of culture as well

I don't want 1 shot mechanics with Fatalis. I want a Fatalis that looks at me and screams "f*** that guy" then proceeds to give me the biggest barrage of razor tipped fireballs that, if I focus 150%, I might be able to deftly dodge half of what he's throwing at me.
