Auto save is a joke

I just did the whole vale sequence and my game crashed while taking the loot at the end and I'm back before I left for the vale and have to do it all over again.

For the love of sanity why doesn't this game not have a modern save system?

you could manually save on your own, if you know you play on a goofy system, which crashs all the time.

I thought it is saving after every mission

The game saves after the end of every mission. You crashed before that happened ergo you lost progress.

Unfortunate for you but fine in like every other case as saves always occur after mission completion and receiving all rewards. If anything blame the game for randomly crashing.

Just a badly timed random crash right as I clicked take all, game has been running fine.

Not as much loot this time as I rushed through.

It's strange it doesn't save when you leave to start a mission, lost all the gear changes I had made, so manual saving before a mission is a must.

if you want it to save before starting quest using the 2x money voucher and also if it saving before starting quest when you crash inside the quest it will reset your progress anyway so what's the difference?
