Glavenus Tail not cutable?

Hi, i fought 2 times now with other 3 dudes against Glavenus and everyone was hitting his tail like crazy but we never managed to chop down his tail.

You can break a part of the tail off to carve when it's glowing. It doesn't really look like it's been cut off once you do it, though.

No, Glavenus' tail is not cutable. BUT, it is cuttable!

It can only be cut off when it is extra sharp and spicey.

for normal galv, it can only be cut when its Red Hot. for Acid glav' it can only be cut when its 'razor sharp' and clean.

PB 3 can indeed be very useful for that since it is one of toughest "tail" to cut after Goldie since taking away the tail on those monsters really easen the fight alot as most of their attacks are tailswipes.

You can cut the tail of Glavenus, but the part is immune to damage outside of vulnerable phases (hot for normal, sharpened for acidic).

i always break his tail when i play lance. just play something that makes it easy to target higher spots.

To cut off his tail, you have to do damage to the tip of his tail while it is glowing. Otherwise it will not cut off no matter how much you hit his tail
