Safi'jiva access issues - no "The Red Dragon" quest

So, I have this issue and I haven't been able to find a solution on google, the friends, who i asked, were clueless as well, so I really hope someone knows a fix.

I just came back to the game after a half a year break:
- Got the Guiding Lands cutscene to show the new area
- Did the Quest " Across the Lost Path " ( Stygian Zinogre )
- Did the Quest " Point of No Return " ( Safi'jiva Tutorial Quest )

and now I'm just stuck here. I don't get an exclamation mark above the Seeker, I talked to anyone I could, but I just don't get the Quest " The Red Dragon ", which should be the Safi'jiva Quest. At the Gathering Hub, I still have the "??? Recon" tab, that I can click and no Safi'jiva tab whatsoever. I heard that Safi'jiva is a limited time only Siege, but given that my friend can access it, I'm under the impression, that it's available.

I removed all my mods, did a fresh install of the game, redid all the required quests and yet i still dont get the " The Red Dragon " quest.


I would be REALLY thankful for any solution, that could fix this issue, since im quite frustrated at this point.

I'm unable to check right now but isn't MR Kulve Taroth siege out right now? The Safi & KT quests are on rotation so that might be the reason.

Yeah, I can access Kulve! But then why can my friend access Safi AND Kulve? Im really confused

None of those screenshots prove anything. Anyone is able to do the recon assignment at anytime. It's the actual quest that's limited-time.

OH! I see! That would make sense, yeah. So even IF he has that Safi tab, he can't actually play the siege? Or is it more like ... the quest is limited-time and then you get access to the siege for an unlimited amount of time?

If Safi siege is out, then you would see "Safijiva Siege" as one of the menu options instead of "Kulve Taroth Siege". According to the event schedule, the Safi quest should be coming up pretty soon so just wait it out for now.
