Pretty much, yeah. AMD's APUs (as well as FX, anything pre-Ryzen really) are bad.
Compared to the min spec CPU for MHW, which is a 5 year old, mid-spec (then, it's old/low-end today) quad core: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-4460-vs-AMD-A10-9600P-APU-2016-MBR/2310vsm136279
You'd have to dig way back to Intel's Core 2 Duo E8600/E8700 (Wolfdale, from 2008/2009) line to find a CPU that yours equals or is just slightly better than: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core2-Duo-E8600-vs-AMD-A10-9600P-APU-2016-MBR/m124vsm136279
The graphics card (R7 M440) is pretty much junk as well: - Source[www.notebookcheck.net]
It's not even close to min spec for MHW: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-760-vs-AMD-Radeon-R7-M440/2159vsm187077
You've got a workstation laptop more or less. It doesn't have gaming hardware in it.
It'll run, sure, but it'll be dog ugly and 10-30 FPS most likely. Here's someone who got it running on a 920MX which is similar to your GPU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxbeYC0ugVU
