best weapons with lunastra materials?

after killing lunastra 20 times i finally got the gem, but i hesitating about what weapon create.

all except LS (i have divini slasher and deviljho) and GS (impact).

i looking to create HBG but idk if lunastra xeno is good especially with sticky build.

From what I can tell:
Lance, hammer, sword and shield, switch axe, you can safely make the Styx version, they're basically the meta choice (at least currently). I have zero clue for HBG/LBG as I barely touched them, same for LS/DB/GL, never bothered with these weapons.

Bow is a big no, because you're better using elemental bows anyway. For Charge blade, Diablos or its bling version is still the best, for greatsword the Impact is still the hardest hitting one.

See which ammo types have lowest recoil/highest clip and build around that.

Luna bows are trash. Probably the worst weapon type you could make for it.

hm... now i hesitating about if create xenoluna HBG or LBG.

You could probably solve the issue by picking up a Luna investigation to farm another gem. I still have plenty of them with gold/silver rewards.

don't make it unless, you want to tank behemoth with it;s slicing to draw aggro for a built team

You could also try looking for builds for other HBG Pierce type. They can be similar and then you can change a few skills. At least thats what I do since I'm bad at building.

luna SA is currently best in slot switch axe against anything with blast 2 weakness or greater (which is everything except for rathian/rathalos/zorah magdaros) and even with the 1*/0* deficiency its still a top contender to a 3* weakness.

styx lance is also pretty ballin.

Once finish getting the Research sheet will be making the luna/xeno great sword for its sharp skill (which is the reason for running 3 pieces of xeno gear currently) there by allowing new armor choices.
