Np, this is why the siege allows 2 tries before they calculate the reward level and end the siege with "The siege of Kulve Taroth is complete"

I think Kulve doesn't neceserally end after two attempts, but the siege will be over the moment anyone in the session breaks off Kulve's horns. And since 2nd attempt is almost always the winning one for everyone it would seem like only two tries are allowed.

Not sure. I had some attempts where we failed two times and we were the first group to return XD, then the game said siege is complete. Not too sure on how exactly it works but at least we all know that 2nd attempt is the only way to break her horns

You can 100% beat her on the first attempt. There are guides and stuff about it all over the net. It's just she gets much easier on higher pursuit levels.

I know, but not everyone can do it/willing to put in so much effort when there is an easier way, so I juz put it there 2nd attempt is the only way to break the horns

You can break the horns on literally any stage, regardless of how much progress you've made in previous stages

Her hunt can go on indefinitely. It only ends when a group breaks her horns.

And people only want to join for that second attempt. Never the first. They only want a free ride without struggling. Fkin hate them. From 10 times joining sessions, Only managed to hunt from 4 sessions. ONCE from each session.

I am frustrated tbh.

1st Pursuit break is also not very good for rewards unless there is another group before or after you who advanced the pursuit and able to break the horns. Because with how the points work, you'll get the maximum reward if there is another group breaking the horn (also other parts) whilst you trying to do so. Most of the guide on 1 pursuit horn break are focused on achieving that, which mean total damage focus on the head and not anything else, ignoring the points you get from breaking other part.

Mostly to increase reward level .

When you first hunt Kulve , with any luck after it enter area 4 and you leave , your reward lv will increase to 8 .

Now do the siege again and this time try your best to break the horn . If you can't break it before its escape , it is ok since pursuit and reward level will increase .

The optimal reward level is 8-10 before you do the siege and 14 above after you finish the siege , this way you get full gold slot in reward .

You will want those juicy gold slots because they have higher chance dropping rarity 8 Kulve weapons .
