Why Critical Element+Safi is better than True Critical Element for Bow

A ton of people seem to keep saying that Safi+CE cannot add up to more than TCE Silver Los sets, but it just doesn't add up.

CE for bow is 1.35x element
TCE for bow is 1.55x element

most leave it at that and say the better multiplier always wins. The issue is the additive element you get from safi.

Example:
Kjarr Ice bow
CE+5piece safi with a base of 800 element (two element augments, full custom augs, 1 health aug)
CE+Safi: 800+150=950 | 950x1.35= 1280
TCE: 800x1.55= 1240

There's only a few examples where TCE gets slightly higher in element, but not by much. The other significant factor is that slot efficiency on Silver Sol armor is terrible. It's difficult to get the skills you may need and want on it. Safi also gives you free affinity that is difficult to aquire with Silver Los sets.

The other issue is Safi's self damage property. This makes resentment, even with health augment, a highly valuable raw boost.

However, hands down the absolute best reasoning for safi bow sets.

Latent Power just 3 points will give you a free 30% affinity for a few minutes and gives you level 5 constitution. Without having to even jewel in constitution, you now have a bottomless pool of stamina at your disposal. And it doesn't take long to activate if you are firing a ton of shots. It even gets activated faster if you take damage from the monster.

Health regeneration with a safi set is fairly low risk for a huge boost in element, critical, and raw that TCE cannot provide. It's a really good setup anyone who can hit their shots can comfortably use.

It's better to just use full Safi.

i feel like the safi set in general is just a catch all for good players. if you know good positioning and know how to use any weapon well, then the safi set is pretty much the go to.

Just slot in what you need for a which weapon you are playing and its good to go.

you didn't see that I listed that for Kjarr bows...

only exception is the Alatreon bow for dragon right now, and it could get better if AT Velk equipment is good.
