thats pretty solid, the other route you could take is two piece brach and 3 piece frost fang bari and go slugger secret. you'll lose 2 points of artillery but it shouldnt matter too terribly much. just grab the brach beta pieces with the agitator (should total to 5) and then fill with frost fang barioth beta and gem the crap out of it.

another fun damage route is to use resentment instead of peak and go two piece brach and three piece safijiva. any blocking chip damage or damage from your own shots will equal bonus damage.

I've built something similiar for my LBG using frostfang and safi, i can say the safi build is safer for LBG because the weapon itself more mobile i even confident enough using safi fullset against alatreon because i can easily dodge it's attack, but i can't feel the same about HBG yet you know because of the lack of mobility.

true but with its ability to block it runs those same skills quite well. i've debated trying and going for a flat out evasion HBG set, but, i honestly like to use offensive guard which means blocking an attack, so i might as well run guard instead. offensive guard + resentment on a safi set combined with frost fang might be the next one i build. just to see how much KO i can stack on it.

not to mention... reloading draw attack... would be funny to pull the KO off with that and follow up with Wyvern right after xD.

Spare Shot charm is a 20% chance to activate, Nargacuga's True Spare Shot is 30%.
Considering how little Sticky ammo you get, I find that 10% increase to be worth it. And since I don't have room for a shield on Magda Gemitus [2x Recoil, 2x Reload, 1x Long Barrel], the Evasion helps.

The base is
Nargacuga Helm α
Nargacuga Mail β
Brachydium Braces α
Brachydium Faulds β
Nargacuga Greaves α
Awakening Charm

And the general outcome for offensive skills is Agitator 5-7, Artillery 3, Peak Performance 3. Also comes with Evade Window 3 and Ammo Up 3. A few Lv 2 slots are open for Slugger or Partbreaker, and 4 Lv 1 slots for Attack Boost, Health Boost, etc. depending on preference.

Since getting Frostfang Barioth's set, I've been thinking of doing something involving the Frostfang Mail β, Gloves α, and Greaves α. Those pieces alone get Slugger 5 and Attack Boost 4. Would be rather easy to fill the gaps with Brachydium bits and get Agitator/Artillery up.

i have many slugger combo jewels... so for me it'll be pure beta pieces.

I would recommend dropoi g health regen 2, 1 is plenty, drop defense as well, and out 1 attack, this will raise the cap (slightly) in your sticky damage, and j think you will notice the damage a bit more then your missing defense :)
